  • Hygiene is 2/3 of our health.

    According to the World Bank, hygiene promotion is the most cost-effective health action to reduce disease.

    Hygiene insecurity includes both the lack of access to these items and a lack of education about proper hygiene. Our hygiene bags provide both education and basic items to help girls in need start their puberty journey off right.

    Each month, send hygiene items to a girl in need who deserves to be clean before she goes to school to learn.

  • 2 out of 5 girls in Lorain County miss school each month due to a lack of access to period supplies.

    90% of our participates reported feeling stressed when they did not have access to the hygiene and period products they need. 71% of the girls who participate in our program have had to use alternative items like toilet paper, paper towels, socks, or rags due to not having access to period supplies during their period.

The Dignity Circle is a passionate and committed group of monthly givers on a mission to end hygiene poverty and period poverty for Lorain County girls in need. Members of the Dignity Circle believe that access to basic hygiene items including period supplies is a human right and not just a privilege for those who can afford the financial cost of being clean. Join us today to protect and restore the dignity of our Lorain County girls in need – because each girl is worthy, valuable, and loved who deserves to feel clean.
